For the love of music.
For Chattanooga.
Who are we?
Chattanooga has a pretty deep past with Irish music if you know where to look. From Irish Sessions at Durty Nelly’s to breweries to local St. Patrick’s Day Celebrations at the Chattanooga Choo Choo. From Olta to the Molly Maguires, we have a lot to draw on. This group aims to curate music, experiences and a community for any and everyone who loves the music, the heritage and wants to support the local Irish Traditional Music scene.
The goal with this new iteration of an Irish Session is to steadily maintain and grow the community with one gathering a month in 2025, and two possible special sessions in 2026. We’ll draw on the resources of The Session website, neighboring sessions, and local musicians that have a wealth of knowledge to support, learn and grow from each other.
