Fáilte! Welcome to Chattanooga’s Home for Traditional Irish Music

Traditional Irish music isn’t just sound, it’s history in motion. It’s the history of song and community through generations. Reels and jigs passed down through centuries, carrying the stories of a people through every bow stroke and every plucked string. It’s not performance, but connection. It’s about sitting in a circle, feeling the rhythm of those who came before us, and adding your own voice to the tune.

This is a call to musicians of all levels in the greater Chattanooga area, from the seasoned session player, the orchestral musician who wants to try something new, to the absolute beginner. If you’ve ever felt the pull of a fiddle tune, the drive of a bodhran, or the lift of a tin whistle, you belong here. We’re here to build something together, a network of players, resources, and opportunities to meet, talk music, and, most importantly, play in sessions.

Whether you’re a seasoned player looking for fellow musicians or someone just beginning your journey into the heart of Irish music, this is your place.

In the coming weeks we’ll be posting to our social media pages and here about where to find music, where we can gather, and what dates and times to look for music to enjoy together.
